Moving To The Home of Draper Tools
This perfectly situated settlement is now the home for a number of international brands: Draper Tools, B&Q, Utilita Energy, Selwood and Ahmed Tea. Its proximity to rail, road and air links is hard to beat. There are communities in Chandlers Ford here to suit everyone.
This area joins up the Hursley Road and Fryern developments. Because the majority of building took place here in the 1920s there are some very characterful houses and villas. The local shops include a beautician, a café and delicatessen, a hairdresser and a pharmacy.
Having been closed since, 1969, the railway station was opened again in 2003 breathing new life into the southern end of Hursley Road. There’s a cluster of new developments near the station and a great selection of amenities including a pub, a café, a number of takeaways and Charles Baynham, one of the best butchers in the area.
The closest centre to Hiltingbury lakes, this offers a larger number of detached properties. The amenities here include a hairdresser, a local store, a yoga studio and a car wash.

This large development has matured well and is now an attractive area stocked with varying sizes of housing. It is serviced by schools, a pharmacy and a doctor’s surgery.

Hiltingbury Lakes are a beautiful spot for walking or fishing or, if you like to get closer to nature, there are a number of allotments.
